A Badger becomes a Timberwolf

leave a comment »

In a salary dump, the Phoenix Suns traded Alando Tucker, a 2010 second round pick and cash to the Timberwolves for guard Jason Hart. Given how bad the Wolves wing play is, with the exception of the surprising Corey Brewer, Tucker might see some minutes. The second round pick is also of value as players like Manu Ginobli and Carlos Boozer have been taken in the second round. David Kahn just continues to right the sinking ship that was the Minnesota Timberwolves. Granted they are only 7-24…good grief…but after beating the Nets they handled the talented Wizards and tonight face the Spurs. Hopefully, brighter pastures are on the horizon.

Royce White

There were such high expectations for Royce White. He was a prized recruit from a Minnesota powerhouse high school who was supposed to contribute right away to Tubby Smith’s rebuilding effort with the Gophers. He is now, according to a Youtube video, quitting.
